Our continued growth has resulted in an exciting opportunity for Sales Operations Manager who will be responsible for driving sales forecasting, sales analytics, modeling and incentive compensation initiatives. This is a key role in improving our business processes and best practices for the Sales organization. You will identify, develop and manage best practices in implementing the Sales growth strategy to ensure that the Sales team is enabled to meet the growth requirements
Responsibilities
Manage all sales forecasting / reporting (includes ownership of salesforce.com)
Manage the contracts process from initial contract review, contract revisions, and final internal approvals
Manage and report on revenue using the Intronis forecast methodology and drive adoption of forecasting tools and dashboards within respective regions.
Generate weekly forecast and metric reports & provide analysis for Sales Management
Proactively diagnose the analytical requirements of the sales organizations; design and deliver reporting to meet their requirements
Develop comprehensive pipeline reporting tools
Partner with Sales Management on business planning and strategy for their respective sales areas
Provide comprehensive analysis of territory alignment decisions, and make modification recommendations to existing sales territories
Assist in all facets of sales planning, inclusive of regular updates to quotas, headcount and sales plan
Work with the Sales Management team to define business requirements and identify the support required for the success of the sales organization
Build out an internal sales education program with our internal training department
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. MBA preferred
Three to five years of experience in Sales Operations or Business Operations
Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or another Sales automation tool
Process oriented with extensive experience in sales forecasting methodology and tools
Exceptional analytical, written, verbal and communication skills
Advanced MS Excel skills are required
