This role will provide direction and support to the WW Sales & Sales Management Teams. Responsible for driving sales productivity, sales forecasting, sales analytics and modeling, deal structuring, discounts process, incentive compensation initiatives, sales tools and CRM, managing the Sales Operations Team while working closely with the respective Sales VPs.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Administer, manage and report on bookings forecasting and automation/forecasting tools; drive adoption of forecasting tools, CRM and dashboards.
? Drive standards of performance and specific actions that drive sales activities at the territory level that are consistent with predefined success criteria for the sales organization; track and report on these activities on a periodic basis.
? Manage and consolidate weekly forecast and metric reports & provide analysis for Sales Management.
? Proactively diagnose the analytical requirements of the sales organizations; design and deliver reporting to meet their requirements.
? Develop comprehensive pipeline reporting tools.
? Partner with Sales Management on business planning and strategy for their respective sales areas.
? Assist in setup, maintenance, and modification of sales territories and provide comprehensive analysis of territory alignment decisions.
? Assist in all facets of sales planning, inclusive of quota, headcount and sales plan and then own reporting actual performance against plan on a regular and consistent basis.
? Act as primary point person for CRM ? salesforce.com.
? Provide recommendations, based on data analysis, in support of key business decisions.
? Continuous development of standard reporting tools to support the changing requirements of the business.
? Proactively identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for new processes.
? Develop monthly operational review slide deck for Board of Directors and Senior Management.
? All other duties as assigned.
Working independently, the Sales Operations Manager resolves a wide range of diverse problems utilizing personal judgment and experience to develop solutions in a creative manner.
Interacts with employees at all levels of the organization and takes personal responsibility for meeting the needs of the customer while demonstrating an understanding of business objectives. Authority to act within defined policies within the area of expertise/knowledge as directed.
Effectively communicates findings to the organization and develops plans for implementation.
Determines necessary resources required and develops goals and metrics for function.
Direct supervision of team Sales Operations Analysts and administrative staff.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
? Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Management; MBA preferred.
? 7-10 years related experience in Sales Operations including management experience.
? Superior analytical skills with big picture business orientation.
? Strong management and communication skills (written and verbal) and business orientated.
? Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
? Understanding of sales cycles, sales models and extensive use of CRM applications, specifically salesforce.com.
? Enterprise software sales experience highly preferred.
