Sales Operations Manager NetBase Solutions
We currently have an opening for a Sales Operations Manager (performing as SFDC Analyst and Administrator) to perform the role of Salesforce.com systems analyst (backend and frontend), manage the data and reporting for the entire revenue cycles (includes pipeline, bookings, billings, and revenue recognition). It is preferable if you also have Marketo experience. If qualified, this position may manage product provisioning, monitor and ensure compliance, and manage the contract and legal process. This position reports to the CFO and supports the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Finance organizations.
The Sales Operations Manager must insure the integrity of the sales lead and pipeline data once it enters the sales process through all of the defined sales stages and provide clear, accurate and actionable metrics to all levels of management on the value of the pipeline and its ability to meet the business objectives of the Company. You will perform the salesforce.com systems analysis to meet the sales and order processes and reporting needs of our organization. This position manages the entire sales order process from leads to order fulfillment.
Convert sales process, enablement and reporting requirements into practical business process and procedures.
Design, develop and maintain necessary dashboards and reports in salesforce.com to meet the reporting and analytics requirements of the sales and leadership teams.
Perform data remapping and process configuration for usability
Create custom fields, pipeline visibility and process for lead and opportunity handling
Partners with the sales organization to maintain the accuracy of SalesForce.com
Performs regular and ad hoc analysis on sales pipeline (funnel/stage progression), forecasted opportunities, close rates, and general account information.
Uses data from SalesForce.com to report and analyze sales results from lead generation through various sales stages. Generate insights and recommendations.
Oversee data quality/integrity in Salesforce ? leads, opportunities, contracts, note/attachments, territory assignments, etc. Recommends improvements.
Produce, enable product/pricing catalogue and maintain for use by sales
Collaborate with other business partners and departments to drive on-going process refinement to improve the efficiency and accuracy of sales execution.
Support and successfully contribute to Ad Hoc projects and reporting requisites
Provides ongoing training and support to users, becoming the de-facto subject matter expert on SalesForce.com
Works cross functionally to successfully integrate other systems to Salesforce.com
Possible Contracts administration and Orders Fulfillment responsibilities
Manages the order processing, contracts administration, provisioning, commissions, and salesforce.com administration
Ensures compliance with company revenue recognition and bookings policies for booking and provisioning of orders.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Directs and coordinates the processing of sales orders from receipt to booking.
Tracks sales delivery, billing and backlog activities, providing internal sales reports when necessary.
Responds to inquiries regarding status of orders and resolves customer order difficulties.
Manage day-to-day contract and legal process; contract handling
Manage updates to contract/agreement templates stored in CRM
Sets up efficient provisioning process of NetBase customers and users
Tracks and maintains products/pricing master.
Audits existing user base
Assists with Partner agreements; handling, process, reporting
Provides ongoing support/ process creation and training for all departments
Bachelor?s degree and 5+ years in a Sales Operations role
Prior experience working in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment
Experience managing personnel and contributing towards the development of department strategy.
Expert SalesForce.com user. Marketo exp a real plus.
Superior analytical skills and attention to detail.
Project management and coordination skills
Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
Strong database and MS Office skills (high level of proficiency in Excel and Power Point).
Clear understanding of sales pipeline/order management
Strong understanding of partner, marketing and sales cycles
Excellent customer service skills with a demonstrated record of exceeding customer expectations
Excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills; ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels and cross functionally and effectively manage differences of opinions.
Ability to influence stakeholders
Experience in developing and delivering presentations and be willing to consistently educate co-workers on how to make themselves more productive with SFDC
Strong sense of urgency, including the ability to meet or exceed deadlines and set priorities.
Must be highly motivated and flexible in order to work effectively in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Strategic thinker, but OK with getting hands into details and day to day tasks.
