SAGE Electrochromics is currently seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager. This role serves as the subject matter expert for the Business Development organization as well as customers. Primary duties are to provide product and systems training to the Business Development organization including independent reps; product, user and installation training to customers; and to provide systems support (i.e. SalesForce.com) technical support, report generation, etc? to the organization as a whole.
Responsibilities
Technical training to the Business development organization including Independent reps
Develop, organize and deliver production training
Develop, organize and deliver systems training and support (i.e. Salesforce.com)
Customer Training
Develop, organize and deliver customer training on product usage, installation and controls.
Develop a training system and curriculum to deliver training in house and in the field
Develop a ?SAGE University? concept for continuous training
Manage Business Development Reps
Lead and support the business development reps (inside sales)
Set goals, provide tracking and guidance for the business development team
Establish policies and procedures to maximize lead generation effectiveness and support the field with customer scheduling
Systems Support
Serve as point of contact for systems support such as SFDC, Dodge, Sweets, Etc?
Deliver report generation, analysis, etc? on an as needed basis
Miscellaneous
Participate in all teams meetings, networking and other activities to continually grow the business.
Collaborate with teammates and maintain a positive and professional attitude fostering teamwork.
Business travel as appropriate and as approved by your manager to accomplish your assigned duties.
Provide budget support
Provide additional support to the VP of Sales and the field organization as needed
Required Skills:
Communication: Good written and verbal skills.
Computer software: MS Office, Dodge and/or Salesforce. Ability to learn and operate new software.
Solid technical training background (i.e. product management, trainer, etc?).
Ability to develop curriculum and training materials
Presents well in front of a class
Motivated and self-directed professional that can operate within guidelines assigned.
Education:
Minimum four year degree.
Technical training and/or product management background.
Sales and/or Customer Service experience a plus.
