Sales Professional Automated Insights
We are looking for proven and experienced business development and sales professionals who will thrive in a fast-pace, entrepreneurial environment.
The right candidate will have an intuitive understanding of the power of Automated Insights' technology to create hyper-relevant content and innovative new data products at scale. The right candidate will also be an imaginative and flexible thinker who can identify, assess and prioritize new opportunities. The right candidate will also need to be confident outlining and selling win/win solutions for large institutional clients in a highly dynamic market.
Support the overall process of new opportunity identification, prioritization and management to ensure Automated Insights maximizes its short, medium and long-term revenue goals and shareholder returns
Help conceive and execute content syndication, audience building and monetization strategies for Automated Insights' owned and operated content
Competitor and market analysis
Lead Generation
Help develop effective marketing, advertising and promotional materials
Maintain and develop Automated Insights' culture, values and reputation
Desired Skills and Requirements
3-5+ years of direct sales experience
Highly motivated, self-starter
Initial high level understanding of Automated Insights' technology and how it can be used to solve the problems of large publishers and information services companies
Ability to proactively prospect, qualify and prioritize new business
Ability to craft customized proposals and negotiate contracts
Ability to close new accounts as well as build ongoing customer relationships and expand existing accounts
Must possess good project and time management skills and be capable of working on multiple opportunities simultaneously
Must be able to clearly articulate to clients how our solutions can be utilized to help create new data products and sources of revenue, or dramatically reduce existing costs
Experience with Salesforce.com and other lead generation and management tools
Experience with audience building, content syndication and monetization strategies, social media and gaming is a plus
If remote, must have a track-record of working successfully in a distributed office environment
