The Sales Representative will have the ability to strengthen Metamarkets? position initially as the leading real-time analytics system for online marketing. The candidate will introduce new, industry-transforming analytics products within the exploding adtech marketplace and into subsequent verticals.
This person needs to be able to generate new business through focused and high volume prospecting and sales execution follow-through. The initial target market for Metamarkets' offering is within the adtech ecosystem, so an established rolodex and familiarity with the market is a plus, as well as a proven ability to expand into subsequent markets over your career. Deal size will range from $10k to +$250,000 per month, and as a SaaS annuity business, candidates must demonstrate exceptional ability to own all aspects of pre and post sale relationship building and revenue attainment. As in all good sales organizations, revenue and performance goals must be attained consistently as well as diligent maintenance of daily outbound call activity reports, weekly meeting schedules, and accuracy of qualified opportunity forecasts.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of three years successful outside sales experience preferably in a SaaS technology and adtech related business.
Ability to communicate the business benefits of the solution, value proposition and ideas succinctly and be confident and effective at all levels throughout prospect organizations.
Engaging phone and in person presence, excelling in questioning and listening to determine customer needs and apply solutions.
Must possess strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills, with attention to detail
Results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, mature, and reliable
Exceptional ability to juggle large, concurrent volumes of opportunities
Bachelor's degree or higher
Proven team player and works as part of the solution.
Being smart, personable, and aggressive is more important than specific industry skills but some industry familiarity is important.
Comfortable and proven effective in a very dynamic environment
Able to negotiate deal terms and pricing; resolve concerns; effective in deal closing
Able to contribute strategically to the growth and direction of company?s commercial offerings
Proven (for NY role) ability to be effective while working remotely from the company?s HQ
