Sales Representative Optovue

Responsibilities: These position will report to the Director of Sales and must consistently meet or exceed all sales budgets/goals on all products assigned. Sales Professionals are expected to possess a high level of product, competitive, customer and territory knowledge. In addition, primary responsibilities while selling capital equipment into a multi-state territory include:
Managing leads and sales opportunities within a territory
Generating leads by cold calling accounts
Conducting product demonstrations for doctors and staff members
Educating doctors and staff on key product benefits
Creating a solid referral base in an effort to increase sales
Sales Professionals are also expected to attend all company, regional and divisional meetings. Attendance is also expected at medical education programs, which can occur during evening hours and/or weekends.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have BA/BS degree (life sciences background preferred)
3 + years outside sales experience (B2B. , dental or medical industry experience)
Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product-related information
Candidates must have strong sales documentation and professional references, formal sales training a plus
Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise good business judgment and discretion and to analyze and address territory opportunities by building key customer relationships
Computer Skills: proficiency in business software (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
Candidates must have a current valid driver?s license, collision and liability insurance for their vehicle and maintain an acceptable driving record regarding accidents and incidents
Extensive travel is required in this position
