In order to reach our goals, we?re looking to hire a Director of Outside Sales & Strategy to focus on the Restaurant Vertical. The Sales Director will be an integral part of LivingSocial?s team, managing many markets and sales team members to maximize revenue.

Develop unique sales strategies to focus on the restaurant vertical
Lead a team of Sales Managers to drive activities of sales team members (Account Executives) within assigned region to ensure that company goals are exceeded in the Restaurant space
Coach and mentor Sales Managers to develop their leadership skills and product knowledge, and development of salespeople in their markets
Develop and implement business plan to meet net revenue goals, and implement new initiatives
Provide feedback to sales management and support groups to refine programs and processes
Develop and maintain strong partnerships cross-functionally and with peers to share best practices
Bachelor?s Degree in Business or related field, plus 5+ years of experience managing sales teams selling to merchants in the restaurant space
Knowledge and ability to implement successful sales plans
Have necessary software knowledge
Top-notch communication and presentation skills
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, creative, flexible and adaptable to new situations
Strategic and creative thinker in a fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritize and work to meet deadlines
