Axiom is seeking a highly capable and analytically skilled Sales Strategy & Operations Associate in our San Francisco office.

Sales Strategy & Operations is a new organization at Axiom dedicated to evolving our sales effectiveness and strategic planning. Sales Strategy & Operations Associates will conduct analyses that drive towards making better decisions, increasing market penetration and scaling the business. They will translate data into meaningful interpretations and recommendations and, where relevant, develop and implement process improvement.
We?re looking for someone who exhibits a thirst for data with a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship. The ideal candidate will combine deep curiosity, commercial pragmatism, comfort with rapid change and enthusiasm for building a new kind of firm.
This is a high profile role, reporting into our SVP of Sales Operations and working closely with our global CFO based in San Francisco.
The Sales Strategy & Operations Associate will:
Own and deliver global reporting and metrics relating to:
o Sales pipeline. Track and report on new business opportunities, report on performance trends, and develop predictive modeling to determine pipeline characteristics necessary to achieve financial targets.
o Forecasting. Deliver timely and accurate forecasts and other data points as necessary to provide visibility into the business.
o Sales rep productivity. Develop and deliver scorecards to depict our sales teams? coverage of their addressable market.
Serve as the trusted business advisor for the Company?s Managed Services and Strategic Accounts segments.
Serve as data steward. Continuously monitor data in Axiom?s systems. Conduct root cause analyses on failures of data integrity, then develop and implement scalable processes for improving data governance.
Coach and train junior analysts on data mining and analytics techniques.
Conduct ad hoc analyses and presentations.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
At least five years experience in sales operations, corporate strategy, or financial planning and analysis
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including financial modeling
Excellent at communication and presentation, with executive presence
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, geographically distributed, matrix-organized environment
Superb problem-solving abilities, time management, judgment, and attention to detail
Organizational fit for the Axiom culture and our core values of Irresistible, Fresh, Thoughtful and Committed
Bachelor?s degree required
Experience with Openair, Bullhorn and Workday systems advantageous but not essential
