The Sales Support Account Manager (?SAM?) is primarily responsible for providing field level support to Progel Pleural Air Leak Sealant customers, including physicians and other clinical professionals. Working closely with Sales and Marketing, the SAM provides surgical case support in the Operating Room and executes professional training plans to assist in achieving regional and Company-wide sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. SAMs travel extensively, using extended stays in a field-based territory to build strong and lasting customer relationships. Target customers include surgeons, nurses, technicians, hospital administrators, office staff, sales personnel and others whose responsibilities may require the need for knowledgeable support of Progel Pleural Air Leak Sealant. Success as a SAM may eventually lead to formal territory responsibility as a Neomend Account Manager. SAMs must therefore be open to relocation anywhere in the U.S. or within a defined region.The successful candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree with one to three years sales experience demonstrating an ability to perform in a team environment, particularly when collaborating with sales people. Excellent communication, interpersonal, verbal and written skills are required. Must have good judgment and maturity, be a self starter, and take initiative.
