We?re looking for a Sales Support Coordinator who enjoys working with both people and data. You'll be the first line of contact for the public, qualifying leads and forwarding them to outside sales staff. You'll also work closely with the sales team, running complex financial models for potential customer sales. You'll analyze sales data and write ad hoc reports as needed. This opportunity requires a candidate with great communication abilities, strong Excel skills and the desire to grow in a vibrant startup environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively discuss and answer complex questions about the functions and specifications of a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Fuel Cell Unit.
Set clear expectations for the qualified customer for the upcoming sales process to be sure that we provide an exceptional customer experience.
Capture an accurate customer record for all pre-qualified leads, utilizing the company?s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application.
Provide overall customer service and support to sales team.
Utilize financial models in Excel in to estimate return on investment for customers.
Research and use tax laws relating to calculation of key data in the customer ROI model.
Know regulations referencing the interconnection between utilities and customers and update internal systems as regulations change.
Update and maintain internal gas and electric utility tariff database to include latest rates in relevant markets.
Produce ad hoc quantitative reports for management, sales team and customers as needed.
As business grows, develop and use metrics and tools to measure sales performance and provide insight into how to optimize sales.
Provide weekly departmental reports.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in a similar field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to qualify and screen potential candidates.
Exceptional Excel skills, along with the ability to research and adapt existing spreadsheets.
Financial modeling experience or aptitude is highly desirable.
Highly developed organizational skills and comfort with multitasking.
Self-starter personality that recognizes needs and initiates solutions with minimal direction.
Proven ability to provide top-notch customer service.
Experience with Oracle and the utilities industry is highly desirable.
