The Sales Support Specialist is the anchor of the sales effort. The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the Sales Executives and Client Partnership Managers in solution proposals and demonstrations across the entire Core Performance portfolio. They act as the bridge between Sales, Operations, Product Management and Marketing including all sales processes, sales initiatives and reporting.
Understand and clearly articulate the Core Performance value proposition in all settings
Manage the ESO Engagement process
Uncover and capture competitive Intelligence on key programs of Target Accounts
Coordinate and monitor the timing and effectiveness of the ESO process
Participate in ESO follow-up in support of the Sales Executives
Manage Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI) process
Play lead role in responding to RFP requests, including pre-qualification of opportunities and the ?seeding? of the Core Performance value proposition
Act as the overall point of coordination in owning the content and timing of response.
Create and maintain RFP lists, responses, and a FAQ database.
In cooperation with the Sales Executives, deliver product and solution demonstrations including the tailoring of solutions based upon prospect discovery work.
In coordination with the Sales Executives and the proposal team, develop sales presentations and tools
Act as a liaison between the Sales Group, Product Group and Performance Innovation to stay abreast of newly released and anticipated functionality.
Manage all sales reporting, sales pipeline and opportunity qualification processes.
Remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
The ideal candidate:
Must be an enthusiastic, energetic self-starter and be able to work independently
Must be a quick learner with a great work ethic, able to take on new tasks and perform very high quality work
Has ability to function in fast-paced environment and in perform duties required in a fast-growing company
Has prior experience with Proposal, Requests for Proposal (RFP) or Requests for Information (RFI) and has experience creating high quality and effective sales presentations for Fortune 500 companies
Has an interest in being a crucial role in the Sales team and the sales process
Has the ability to tackle new challenges daily and a flexible attitude toward job requirements
