This Sales Support Engineer role will support our sales efforts in the US with heavy emphasis on New York City and Chicago. The role carries a shared quota that is directly related to the success of your Account Executive colleagues in the field. This role will report directly to the Managing Director ? Sales, in Chicago.

Considerable travel is required.

Job Responsibilities

Creating and maintaining a demonstration environment.
Developing effective sales presentations.
Demonstrating Firm58?s solutions to prospects.
Delivering end-user instruction, as needed.
Preparation and coordination of Requests for Proposals (RFP?s & RFI?s)
Interaction with the Product Manager and CTO on product feature requests and customer feedback.
Assisting the Deployment Team with the transition from Sales to Deployment.
Assisting other Firm58 departments as may be required by your manager or the CEO.

Job Qualifications

Financial industry domain knowledge a must, preferably customer facing skills in the Equity, Options, and Futures industry, and/or with clearing firms and exchanges/trading venues.
Knowledge of Middle and Back Offices at US Broker Dealers a plus.
3 to 5 years prior work as a Pre-Sales Software Support Engineer, or similar.
Clearly visible demonstration and sales meeting preparation skills.
Bachelor?s degree or higher education credentials are required.
Must have strong analytic skills and be able to work in a technical environment.
Must be self motivated and enthusiastic regarding the challenges of a dynamic environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
Willing to travel on short notice.
