Sales/Support Engineer Mersive Technologies
Mersive has a unique position available for a sales and customer support engineer with a diverse set of skills.Mersive?s visual computing software enables large enterprises, display manufacturers & resellers to create large-scale, beyond-HD displays that deliver unprecedented performance, simplicity & affordability.
The position is varied and dynamic, and it will involve all of the following at different times:
Consulting support for inside sales, and external resellers when needed to determine technical feasibility for particular installs.
Technical support of our software/hardware products with new and existing customers and resellers.
Some direct installation at customer sites.
Manage technical requirements, logistics and setup for trade shows.
Perform setup and calibration of our displays for on site customer and partner demos.
Travel will be required.
The successful candidate will need to take ownership of the above areas, and with guidance from management, proactively address all of these areas.
This position is based in Denver, Colorado and will report to the Director of Engineering, but it will also interface with VP of Sales, Director of Marketing and the engineering team.
Required Qualifications/Experience
The successful candidate will have most if not all of the following skills and qualifications, with at least 3 ? 5 years professional experience in the technology market.
Experience performing sales support and direct customer support of software and hardware systems.
Demonstrable experience performing in mission critical environments such as national defense, intelligence and command and control operations.
Comfortable and competent discussing technical issues in sales situations.
Experience with audio/visual systems. (Projector and Video Cube Display Systems, Video Wall Controllers, Graphics Processing, Commercial A/V).
Comfortable troubleshooting complex software and hardware systems on site and remotely.
Experience planning and setting up software and hardware for trade shows.
Able to handle multiple priorities in dynamic environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications/Experience
Engineering degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is highly desirable.
Software development experience is a plus.
