About this jobReflexion Networks is looking for an exceptional SE to work with the sales team in handling in-depth technical questions that arise in both pre- and post-sales situations. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales. Internally, this person will work with the sales team, infrastructure team, product management, and software engineers to develop distinctive technical expertise in the company?s cloud-based services. Externally, the person will work with the company?s global network of IT solution providers and managed service providers (MSPs), advising them on the configuration, deployment and use of the company?s services, helping them to inform their prospects and customers about Reflexion?s products, and helping them close sales opportunities. This is an excellent ?make your story? opportunity, and the person who fills this role will be a key contributor to the company?s market success.
We are looking for a candidate with the following experience and characteristics:
Three-plus years of experience in a technical sales position
Technical familiarity with Microsoft Exchange administration and email related technologies and protocols, such as DNS, SPF, SMTP, MX records, etc.
Technical familiarity with anti-virus and anti-spam solutions, and DNSBLs would be a plus.
Technical familiarity with remote monitoring and management (RMM) and professional services automation (PSA) solutions would be a big plus, as would experience with email archiving and encryption technologies.
Prior work experience with an IT solution provider or MSP would be very pertinent.
