Sales/Trading - New Sales, Hedge Funds Liquidnet Holdings
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED You will be on a team responsible for cross-selling the Liquidnet trading system, CMS, Algo Trading Suite and other core Liquidnet products to buy side institutions/hedge funds in various geographical regions and owning the client relationship through the entire sales cycle.
You will provide product demonstrations to prospects and be able to explain the value of Liquidnet and what differentiates it from other trading systems and traditional brokerage firms. Once a firm is trading on the system, you will serve as a point of contact with these institutions and your focus will be to increase the traders? comfort level on the system in an effort to increase their use of the product and drive trading revenues.
You will need to learn and identify the distinct trading strategies at these various institutions and be able to effectively communicate and demonstrate how Liquidnet will be able to assist them in their trading needs. In addition, you will be the liaison between the member firms and the Liquidnet support team and will be available to address and communicate issues as they arise.
5+ years? experience as equity Sales Trader; Agency Program Trading experience preferred.
Established Hedge Fund client relationships required.
Experience successfully managing institutional equity client relationships
Familiarity with quantitative trading strategies, Pre and Post Trade analytics
Superior communication skills; self-motivated; responsible.
Strong math & technology skills.
Dynamic personality with proven ability to interact/entertain clients is a must.
Series 7, 55 and 63 required.
Ability to travel as required
