Liquidnet Relationship Managers/Sales Traders serve as the external face of Liquidnet to our Member community. They are our customers? primary point of contact, and must be fully versed in the Liquidnet trading system and its protocol. They are expected to attain and manage deep, mutually beneficial partnerships with Buy-Side firms.
The candidate needs to be knowledgeable about the equity markets and institutional trading. He or she must be able to develop and grow strong, long-term relationships with customers by serving as a value-added resource. He/she must be able to successfully nurture those relationships through client entertaining and regular phone contact.
Requirements
8-10 years? experience as an equity Sales Trader or Buy-Side equity Trader.
Established client relationships in the Boston area are a must.
Experience successfully managing institutional equity client relationships.
Familiarity with quantitative trading strategies, Pre and Post Trade analytics.
Superior communication skills; self-motivated; responsible.
Strong math and technology skills.
Dynamic personality with proven ability to interact/entertain clients is a must.
Series 7 is required.
Existing buy-side relationships preferred.
Ability to travel as required.
