Sales Training Anatomy Instructor:
Trainer works with the Sales Training Manager to develop, coordinate, and deliver various training programs for our spinal implant sales force. The main areas of focus, of the various training programs will be to run the US/International Advanced Training and 101 Anatomy Training (spinal anatomy including clinical, pathology, treatment options and surgical techniques). This will be accomplished through formal training classes, field training programs and online training. Central to these activities, is the ongoing development of a training curriculum and associated materials. The ultimate goal of these training efforts is to develop a world-class sales force that is an asset to their surgeon customers because of their clinical and product knowledge.
Coordinate/lead, develop and teach spinal anatomy at our 101 anatomy classes for duration of 5 days. This includes incorporation of surgeon speakers and various Globus employees and the facilitation of the discussions involving those speakers.
Coordinate and lead advanced training classes for duration of 4-5 days. This includes incorporation of speakers (Sales Managers, Product Development Staff and Surgeons) and the facilitation of the discussions involving those speakers.
Designs and develops multimedia applications for paper, in-house training, computer-based training, and web-based training.
Evaluates and selects textbooks, manuals and other training aids.
Analyzes training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
Maintains complete and accurate training records/files on all aspects of training and testing for each trainee including course material.
Manage the physical inventory and resources (equipment, sales tools, training materials, etc) of the Sales & Marketing department
Bachelor's Degrees in Biological Sciences, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience in the medical device industry with understanding of spine surgical procedures is a plus but not necessary.
3-5 years experience in training administration, curriculum development, and implementation of training/educational programs.
Must possess strong analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
Must be a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Project management experience is a plus.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
