Job Description
Major Administrative Duties and Responsibilities:
Define and develop critical success criteria for sales and sales management that will allow us to maximize our sales and adoption of our technology
Design and implement sales development programs for Domestic Territory Managers.
Needs identification based on field selling activity:
Define the problem/solution:
Work through the sales training team to organize training through multiple channels: email, webinar, regional and national training events.
Conduct sales training programs for new hires.
Introductory sales school.
Intermediate sales schools.
Clinical training as necessary.
Field ride training, with development recommendations to region management.
Design and deliver international training programs
Uncover unique market dynamics
Define the appropriate sales messaging
Deliver training classes
Field rides with international sales reps in their home country
Responsible for on-going training of B-RRX Sales personnel to continuously improve performance.
Responsible for decreasing the time to productivity for the new hires during major expansions
Develop and execute professional education courses for the field sales trainer group.
Develop Sales meeting content and materials.
Expected travel: 50%
Required Skills/Experience:
The ideal candidate will have:
8-10 years medical device sales experience
Ideal candidate would have 2-5 years medical device sales management experience
Demonstrated track record of successfully driving transformational improvement in Sales forces through training.
Experience in driving greater sell-in of a new services or product concepts through training.
Enthusiasm to work in a start-up environment ? a motivated self starter with passion for results.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal, project management and organizational skills.
Thorough understanding of the medical device Sales environment.
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other office systems
Cross functional team player
Exceptional strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and understand strategic implications in product development.
Education Requirements:
Masters Degree Preferred; minimum Bachelor?s Degree required.
Experience Requirements:
8-10 years work medical device work experience.
1-3 years with sales training experience
Ideal candidate will also have experience as a Regional Sales Manager for medical device company.
Other Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all functional areas
Ability to multi-task and work independently
Able to work with a sense of urgency and pace consistent with a start up
-Travel of 50% is expected.
