SUMMARY:
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the day to day management of Volusion?s Salesforce environment. Ideal candidates will have experience with managing integrations, user roles, workflow rules, and familiarity with APEX code. This person will be the go-to person for Salesforce system, process and data issues and/or improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage technical requirements and implementation for Salesforce.com CRM, marketing automation and help desk, as well as other internal business tools.
Responsible for maintaining the functional areas of data management including integrations
Maintain role hierarchy, user roles, data security, profiles, workflow rules, etc.
Familiar with APEX code and programming on the Force.com platform.
Troubleshoot system, process and data issues
Provide first-line support to internal stakeholders
Identify tool usage problems and document technical / communication plans to remedy
Perform ongoing training sessions as an internal trainer for new and existing users
Provide a single point of contact as the help desk to the user groups
Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving CRM and sales operations
Act as champion to the user community by representing to management commonly requested and needed changes and improvements to the applications
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Time management, ability to multi task in a dynamic environment, with propensity to handle urgent interrupts with poise and professionalism
Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate issues
Self-directed, efficient, transparent and biased towards execution
Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented sales-driven environment
Strong business acumen including a good sense of how the automation of sales business processes and B.I. tools can be utilized to improve business efficiency and the bottom line
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
5+ years experience managing CRM tools, database technologies - SaaS industry preferred
2+ years experience implementing and configuring Salesforce.com, certification preferred
Experience with email marketing tools and web analytics platforms.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
