As a critical member of the Business Services team, the Salesforce Administrator will be will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of Salesforce.com CRM
Administration of the company?s Salesforce.com CRM instance and development of related processes.
Administration functions include but are not limited to: user management, configuration, customization, report and dashboard development, data management, and support for AppExchange applications. Specific examples of tasks include:
Customize Salesforce.com fields, page layouts, record types, searching, list views, queues, reports, and dashboards
Maintain security such as user accounts, mobile user accounts, sharing rules, user roles, user profiles, field level security, content folder rights, groups, list view rights, and custom apex pages and classes, etc.
Maintain and create workflow rules, validation rules, formula fields, escalation rules, auto-assignment rules, etc.
Maintain overall system configuration
Assist in developing and maintaining documentation on processes, policies, application configuration, and help related materials
Manage operational requests and troubleshoot issues, working with diverse user groups
Manage instance to ensure data integrity
Maintain system metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
Project management experience
Demonstrable analytical reasoning or quantitative analysis
Experience with analytic tools (Excel, SQL, Access)
Familiarity with IT systems, database design, and data structures
Fluent in Microsoft Office applications
Salesforce Administration or Developer experience
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems
Ability to communicate ideas and expectations effectively by e-mail, phone, and in person
Ideal Qualifications:
Experience administrator in a Salesforce Enterprise Platform environment
Experience working with Salesforce developers and/or outside vendors on system extensions, customizations, and integrations with third party applications
Ability to translate customer/business requirements into technical specifications
Attention to detail
Experience troubleshooting and finding multiple solutions to a complex problem
Ability to work in a rapidly changing and interrupt-driven environment
Experience working within a team environment and independently
Experience in thinking through problems creatively
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to synthesize and interpret technical data
