SciQuest is looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst that will play a very important role in further integrating SFDC into our business processes. As we continue to rapidly grow as a company this has created an increased reliance on process maturity. The Salesforce Systems Analyst should be interested in breaking out of the standard role. This is a highly visible position that offers someone the chance to interact as an active liaison with each business unit within the organization.
Form constructive partnerships with all business units of the organization including sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance and Legal.
Overall responsibility for the administration, configuration, development, and support of the SFDC applications within SciQuest.
Analyze business needs, gather requirements and author functional specifications.
Communicate and implement process change as needed for the effective use of SFDC within departments and across the organization.
Provide solutions to end users based on solid understanding of existing implementation and business standard operating procedures and fundamental Salesforce.com concepts and functionality.
Create/edit reports and dashboards for a wide range of users using the native Salesforce.com reporting tools. Demonstrate the ability to interpret and understand requirements in order to develop effective reports that meet the needs of internal users.
Proven ability to configure applications on the SFDC platform including, custom fields, objects, relationships, workflow rules/approval processes, custom buttons, OWD/role hierarchy/sharing rules, etc.
BA/BS from an accredited university preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline
3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, with at least 2 or more years supporting and administering Salesforce.com deployments
Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and methodology development
Proven problem resolution and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize and adapt quickly to change in high pressure situations with minimal supervision required
Excellent customer service skills with a demonstrated record of exceeding customer expectations
Experience managing vendors
Solid business acumen; ability to understand and anticipate business needs in order to provide appropriate solutions
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
Strong team player with excellent listening, interpersonal, facilitation, written, oral and communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate concepts in both technical and user-friendly language to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood.
Ability to work with external vendors to resolve issues and manage project initiatives
Strong technical, problem resolution and analytical skills; able to multi task and prioritize effectively
Experience working with cross-functional, geographically disparate teams
Position resides at SciQuest headquarters office in Cary, NC
