About the Job
RMG Networks is seeking a high energy, experienced Salesforce.com Administrator. The Administrator will be a key member in designing and ongoing improvement of our CRM system, Salesforce.com. Primary tasks will consist of maintaining the companys Salesforce.com systems support and updating functions; monitoring of all end-user usage; and performing additional administrative tasks related to overall reporting and business intelligence.
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to)
Analyze business requirements, procedures, and problems and then apply sound technological concepts and provide logical solutions to each (i.e. identify, recommend and resolve).
Implement changes with applications; test those changes to ensure accuracy; and work with the sales and operations departments to accept and deploy the new solutions.
Responsible for optimization and maintenance of Salesforce.com for various cross functional groups (Sales, Marketing, Service, Support).
Ownership, execution and strategy of both system design and customizations including new rules/workflows, roles, profiles, etc.
Act as subject matter expert to enable Salesforce.coms success as our unified system of record.
Build customized solutions in Salesforce.com and associated systems that support business requirements and processes.
Create and maintain data integrity rules.
Provide global day-to-day end user support (including system configuration, complex formulas and system maintenance).
Design, document, build, test and deploy enhancements to Salesforce custom objects, page layouts, workflows, alerts, reports and complex dashboards within Salesforce.
User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules and Security.
Configure, maintain and support Sandboxes and Production instances.
Import and Export Data.
Lead and/or contribute on the technical side of business projects and create solutions to meet challenges (including detailed analysis of technical and business requirements.)
Develop and conduct training sessions, and create and update training materials.
Keep abreast with new Salesforce.com features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Manage special projects as assigned. This includes sales compensation, sales reporting tracking, ad-hoc reporting, and contract processing.
Support the Sales team, including Executives, in dashboard and report creation.
Experience and Skills:
Candidates should have:
Bachelor's degree (B. A. /B. S. /BBA) from four-year College or University.
5+ years of system administrator experience with Salesforce.com; must be expert in all common configuration (i.e. non-coding) tasks.
1-3 years experience in sales, marketing operations, and/or financial administration.
Ability to develop and create roles, lead assignment rules and other basic Salesforce.com objects.
Experience in designing and developing processes in a highly agile environment (Sales/Marketing).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization in a collaborative way.
Strong spreadsheet and data-modeling experience.
Demonstrated understanding of business process development and improvement initiatives.
Strong sense of customer focus, both internal and external, and the importance of the voice of the customer.
Ability to multi-task various projects and balance priorities; work independently with little to no supervision.
A strategic thinker with superb attention to detail.
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Proactive desire to learn with intellectual curiosity and research capabilities.
A can do attitude and a great team player.
