DescriptionvAuto has an immediate full time opportunity for a Salesforce Developer/DBA. We are in search of a highly motivated, independent self-starter to join the vAuto team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to be involved in the full development life cycle including design, development, testing, documentation, and administration.
Design and develop reusable code on the Force.com platform
Handle web services API integrations with other systems including Salesforce
Test all code and write needed test coverage code before deployment
Identify and implement changes to the database to meet the company?s needs and for general maintenance
Assist in regular data maintenance exercises to maintain integrity of data
Work with a team of dedicated Salesforce professionals to meet the needs of the company and the rest of the team
Responsible for the setup, configuration and maintenance of Salesforce.com applications including page layouts, fields, tabs and business processes.
Ensure the Salesforce environment and related data is secure.
Manipulate, import, update and maintain clean data. Ensure data quality and integrity.
Create, configure, test and maintain high-value reports and dashboards.
Setup workflows and automation.
Manage all aspects of Salesforce.com technical administration, including user management, database record management, Force.com development and other required system updates.
Contribute to in-house and 3rdparty application integration activities.
Collaborate with management to track, enhance and maintain Salesforce.com environment and plan additional release cycles.
Qualifications
College degree or equivalent professional experience.
3 or more years of Salesforce.com experience. Salesforce certification a plus.
Solid understanding of Salesforce.com concepts and functionality, navigation and Sales Cloud. This includes navigation, user interface setup, user setup and management, security and data access, field customization, data management, report and dashboard creation and maintenance, automation, collaboration and Service Cloud management.
Create, monitor and manage processes.
Relational database experience. Familiar with MS SQL Server.
Experience with programming languages such as SQL, JavaScript, XML, HTML, Apex, Visualforce.
Proficient with data analysis, manipulation and transformation, data cleansing and import of data into Salesforce.com.
Intermediate to advanced Excel and related data manipulation tool experience.
Effective listening, communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
Must be able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
