The salesforce.com Sales administrator will be the primary point of contact for the North America Sales team for routine salesforce.com administration, training, and support. You will also work closely with the Corporate Enterprise salesforce.com administrators and developers to continue to improve and optimize the system to further enable sales performance.
The North American sales team is a highly dynamic team of approximately 600 people. This position will report into the VP of Sales Effectiveness. The Sales Effectiveness team is a newly formed organization whose mission is to support and enable the success of the sales organization through delivery of tools and processes that improve sales performance. As a member of this team you will be an integral member of the Sales organization and will contribute directly to the success of the sales team. In this position you will have the opportunity to further develop your salesforce.com skills and responsibilities as well as to make a significant impact on the Sales organization.
Manage user roles, profiles, security settings and onboarding / offboarding for the North American sales team
Provide basic end user support for salesforce.com
Provide new hire training on the use of salesforce.com, including creation of user guides and tools
Create and manage reports and dashboards for sales reps and management
Moderate levels of salesforce.com system configuration
Coordinate with other enterprise admins and developers to ensure smooth business operations across Sales and Marketing
Assist in management of data quality and integrity
Monitor and assist with sales rules of engagement
Assist in / drive requirements definition for continued system improvement, including working with internal resources, as well as salesforce.com and third party developers
High levels of interaction and partnership with sales management
Skills and Experience Requirements
2 years working with salesforce.com administration in an organization with a moderately complex salesforec.com environment, including the use of validation rules and workflow and the development of custom objects. Basic certification preferred
Proven ability to build complex salesforce.com reports and dashboards
Proven ability to develop and deliver end user training and supporting reference guides and documentation
Highly proficient with Excel, use of Excel connector for salesforce.com a plus
Must be able to work effectively in collaborative and matrixed environments
Must be able to work with moderate supervision
Must thrive in a dynamic environment and tolerate the flexibility necessary in high growth organizations
Must exhibit exacting attention to detail and quality
Must possess excellent organizational skills as well as proven abilities with project planning, time management, and multitasking
Must possess excellent business acumen as needed to assist in developing requirements for system enhancements and reporting approaches
Must be analytical and process oriented
Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to partner effectively with sales management and other departments and stakeholders
