Salesforce Consultant / Developer Five9
Five9 is looking for an experienced Salesforce Consultant/Developer to support our Services and Sales organizations efforts to envision and design solutions to meet our Prospects requirements as well as to deliver targeted solutions for current Clients. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem solving skills and will report to Five9?s Vice President of Professional Services while working closely with other members of the PS, Sales, Support, Engineering and Technical Operations teams across the Five9 enterprise.
Key responsibilities include:
Responsible for envisioning, architecting and developing custom solutions by collaborating with the Client, Sales and Services team members during the Sales and Services Delivery stages of the engagement.
Design, code and implement best and appropriate solutions for the Client by leveraging various technologies and platforms - You will work across all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle - from conceptual phase through to post-implementation support.
Communicate with Client SMEs and key business users to ensure the design and delivery of quality deliverables that meet the stated Client business needs during in the implementation of the solution.
Build services and scripts to provide bi-directional data transfers between Salesforce, Five9 platform and external client systems.
Conduct large-scale deployments at Client locations.
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or the equivalent in job experience.
5 years of experience in a similar position, or as a Senior Developer, Systems Engineer or related occupation.
In depth knowledge and experience in Salesforce.com application web platforms; APEX; Visualforce framework; design patterns and Web Services (Data Integration).
Must possess a thorough understanding of SalesForce.com out-of-the box functionality (i.e. Basic configuration, Package Deployment, Custom Object creation, Analytical Snapshots, Custom Report Creation, APEX Triggers, Workflow Alerts and Actions, Approval Workflows, etc.)
Salesforce.com Developer Certifications are preferred, but not required
Requires domestic travel up to 50% to unanticipated client sites in the U.S.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to meet tight deadlines, and provide accurate time estimates.
Experience working in a multi-location, team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to work issues at all levels within the organization and map business requirements to functionality available in appropriate technologies/platforms.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem solving and follow-through abilities.
Ability to work under pressure with little direction and without oversight.
Highly motivated - self-starter, proactive with excellent time management skills.
Must be flexible, adaptable and available for support during non-standard hours.
