Position Summary:
The LANDesk Salesforce Developer is responsible for development and customization for Salesforce.com and Salesforce 3rd party tools such as BigMachines. This position requires experience in Salesforce.com development including APEX, Visualforce, SOQL and API integrations. In addition, some web services / web applications work will be required. Skills in HTML, XML, and SQL are desired. The successful candidate will work with a process and system architect to help design and customize processes and tools that support the key functions and missions of the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Manages all Salesforce development requests including prioritization, estimation, coordination, and documentation
Oversees the functional and technical design and architecture for all Salesforce.com-centric systems
Coordinates with other business analysts to ensure the proper integration of business processes and procedures to information technology
Develops business cases for major enhancements and projects to assist leadership in strategic planning
Possesses excellent self-organization skills
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills and Experience:
1-3 years Salesforce development experience
Solid APEX skills creating triggers, custom controllers, and classes
Advanced experience with Visualforce
Skills in HTML and XML
Knowledge of SOQL and SQL
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with ability to handle various tasks; attention to detail
Must be able to work well with others as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
BigMachines and BML experience
Web application skills (PHP, ASP, Coldfusion)
Web services experience (SOAP, etc)
Java experience
Basic Familiarity with SAP
Project Management experience
CRM Fusion Demand Tools familiarity
Force.com experience; using Eclipse or Force.com IDE
Experience working in a software development and marketing company
Education/Licensing/Certification:
BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, MS preferred
Salesforce.com Admin and Developer certifications preferred
