Who We Want:
Bazaarvoice is looking for a summer intern to work in our Support and Strategic Intergration. This intern will predominantly work within our Salesforce.com application and
database. Our team is responsible for managing and enhancing our sizable SFDC deployment as well as integration to several other SaaS business applications and web portals. Key Job Responsibilities
Database organization
Web portal development and integration to SFDC
Understanding business requirements and translating these into technical solutions based on the salesforce.com platform
Collaborate with users and management in defining, analyzing and designing of new processes and systems
Create and maintain reports and dashboards
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:
Knowledge of object-oriented methodologies and approaches
Positive attitude, energetic approach and self-motivation are all
essential
Ability to translate customer requirements into specifications
Ability to implement technical solutions as needed
Job Requirements
Working towards a BS in CS, MIS, or related field
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Possess strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to escalate appropriate issues to management.
Able to build and maintain productive working relationships across the organization, including internal staff and external contacts.
Ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups.
Keen attention to detail and complex problem solving abilities from operational and technical perspective.
Strong team player with service-oriented attitude, customer focus, and ability to work in cross functional teams.
