Our business is growing and we are expanding our sales efforts to ensure locale specific representation.
Position
We?re looking for an ?on the ground? Sales Executive to augment our ongoing San Francisco Bay Area sales efforts. We have high customer and partner concentration in this area, and we?d like on the ground staffing to represent that concentration. A significant portion of Gnip?s revenue and customers are in the Bay Area. The locale leads much of the overall ecosystem?s public social media data consumption, and new opportunities arise everyday. We?d like to help even more prospects become part of the Gnip family, and believe having someone physically focused in the area is a great way to expand our efforts.
Our sales team members assist our prospects/customers in resolving challenges they?re facing, rather than simply driving a product/rate-card to the finish line. As such, you?ll need creative problem solving skills, and a strong view into how public social content is changing the face of business across industries.
Expectations
Spend a month in Boulder, CO in order to get to know the team, our processes, and culture. Office out of your home or one of our partner?s offices.
Skills
Firm grasp of how public social content is currently being engaged with by businesses and a deep interest to learn more.
Solid ability to establish relationships with existing customers, and identify new, previously unforeseen business opportunities.
Ability to identify new relationships, and provide solutions to their firm.
Capable of gathering and synthesizing feedback from prospects/customers into hypotheses to verify.
Drive your decisions with data.
Provide only the solutions you have, not what you wish you had.
