Job Description
Promega Corporation, a strong and growing international biotechnology company headquartered in Madison, WI, seeks an experienced SAP Business Objects Developer/Administrator to support an on-going full scale global Business Intelligence implementation along with supporting continued upgrades, enhancements, and future management reporting needs. This position will work closely with the Promega project team consisting of global business and IT staff along with our implementation partners to design, grow, and expand our reporting needs.

Required Experience:
? Minimum of 5 years? experience with SAP Business Objects (BOBJ) including Web Intelligence (WEBI) Advance Analysis, Universe Design (OLAP and Relational), BICS connections, data mapping and dimensional modeling for reporting requirements.
? Bachelor?s degree in IT, Management Information Systems, Business or related field -OR- 4+ years equivalent work experience.
? One or more previous SAP BOBJ full lifecycle implementations including data modeling.
? Experience with creating and maintain BOBJ authorizations and integration with Windows Active Directory Groups.
? Experience in creating reports using BW BEx queries. BW background/knowledge is a MUST.
? Experience with analyzing system performance, database performance, system health checks, and implementing tuning improvements in an SAP BOBJ/BW environment.
? Experience with architecting and loading non SAP data.
? Experience with the development of functional and technical specifications.
? Minimum of 1 year experience with Business Objects (BOBJ) 4.0 or higher a plus.
? Prior experience on SAP BW 7.0 or higher a plus.
? Prior experience in a cGMP/QSR regulated manufacturing environment a plus.
? Experience with BOBJ Crystal Reporting and Explorer a plus.
? Experience with information out of SAP ECC SD and FI/CO a plus.
Required Skills:
? Ability to work with business and functional teams to convert business requirements, processes and designs into a comprehensive, robust, efficient, scalable and stable BI Solution.
? Ability to lead business requirements gathering for new Business Intelligence (BI) projects.
? Ability to work closely with the user community and IT to successfully architect, design, model, implement, integrate, test and maintain BI and related applications.
? Ability to interact with other team members to gain a thorough understanding of the potential impacts of proposed solutions on other areas of the systems and/or project.
? Ability to identify security requirements, including creation of new roles and/or addition to existing authorizations for a given line of business.
? Responsible for meeting all assigned/agreed on target dates for projects as well as individual tasks.
? Ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities in a professional manner.
? Participate in the creation of BW and BI development standards while adhering to policies, methodologies, standards, and guidelines of the company.
? Superior analytical and decision making skills.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills.
? Good presentation skills to articulate ideas, options and solutions to the business and IT team.
? Strong interpersonal skills.
? Strong teamwork and customer support focus.
