Duties:
Analyze problems to develop solutions involving computer hardware and software and evaluate project plans & proposals to assess feasibility issues related to the development of security applications; Design computers and the software that runs them, develop security applications and prepare technical specifications for all security software/hardware developed; Analyze performance trends and make process improvements; Design, develop and support software security functions including maintenance and regular troubleshooting for any software/hardware flaws; Conduct logical analyses of business, scientific, engineering, and other technical problems, formulating mathematical models of problems for solution by computers; Oversee assignment and scheduling of tasks in order to meet work priorities and goals; Develop understanding of client?s business and IT environments and identify company products and services to meet client?s needs; Analyze and evaluate newer versions of tools and features and provide advice on suitability of new versions to client?s business needs; Consult with users, management, vendors, & technicians to determine computing needs & system requirements and meet with managers, vendors, and others to solicit cooperation and resolve problems; Participate in recruitment decisions and training of staff and develop performance standards.
Hours:
40 hrs/week 9:00AM-5:00PM schedule
Requirements:
MS Computer Science or Information Systems + two years experience as Scientific Programmer Analyst or any Programmer/Analyst required.
