Description: We are seeking a molecular biologist to join our team that is developing ultra-sensitive assays using our proprietary single molecule array (SiMoA) technology. This molecular biologist will be responsible for the development of assays for the detection of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) using SiMoA. The scientist will be expected to design and implement molecular biology strategies for detecting single NA molecules. The scientist will work closely with the chemists and biologists at the company to implement these novel assays in the SiMoA detection platform.

Requirements: Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in molecular biology or an equivalent discipline. Three or more years post-doctoral experience in the life sciences industry or academia are required. Candidates must have a broad experience and knowledge of molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extraction and purification from cell cultures, PCR, RT-PCR, primer and probe sequence design, design of cloning strategy, restriction digest, and ligation. Skills and hands-on experience with molecular cloning, transformations, and cell culture are required. Experience with the development of novel NA assays is preferred. Candidates should have excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced interdisciplinary environment, and the desire to work collaboratively on multiple projects.
