We are assembling a team of highly motivated and experienced professionals who are committed to improving the lives of patients and building a world class biotechnology company.We are currently looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and relentlessly resourceful individual to join our team as a Scientist or Senior Scientist in our bioanalytical group. The individual will be responsible for the development and kinetic elucidation of enzyme assays using LC-MS/MS as a primary readout. This person will also develop LC-MS/MS methods for the use in assays and for the quantitation of small molecules from a variety of biological matrices to support pre-clinical and clinical studies. This person will play a key role in developing our understanding of drug bioavailability, clearance and biodistribution. The selected individual will work closely with other scientists and disciplines (pharmacology, chemistry, pharmaceutical development, toxicology and clinical) to analyze and interpret the resulting biochemical and bioanalytical data and plan the path forward.
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. and 2+ years of industry experience or BS/MS and 5+ years of industry experience. The candidate should be well versed in enzyme assay development, enzyme kinetics, HPLC separations, and LC-MS/MS analysis. Familiarity with cell based assay and common pharmacokinetic modeling and distribution methods is desirable.
The ability to thrive in and develop a culture with a sense of urgency in a biotechnology and start up environment is essential. In addition, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (written and oral), and a strong desire to contribute broadly.
