Run daily stand ups ? Manage the daily stand ups. Make sure the impediments are being addressed. Ensure the daily work completely ties up with the current sprint for each of the developers.
Run Sprint planning and prioritization meetings ? Be the owner of the sprint planning and prioritization process and ensure that product manager(s) and development lead(s) are in agreement with scope and timing of the sprint tasks.
Manage the sprint planning tool, to ensure all stories and tasks are being tracked accurately and being worked on
Follow up with developers on task status, estimates, entering time etc.
Report to management and others on release notes, sprint status, burn down report etc.
Ensure proper communication is being maintained between remote teams (NY and CA)
Support non sprint related projects ? This role needs to support the customer solutions team with project management type tasks for high profile or critical customer solutions and integrations
Bring industry best practices on the scrum/agile process to the team and improve the overall efficiency of the team.
Manage the sprint/product backlog - manage the end of sprint process and keep track of all the product ideas in our backlog.
Facilitate the sprint review meeting
Backlog grooming with product owners so that our backlog stays in control.
Must have functioned in a Scrum Master position for at least 3-5 years
Have technical aptitude to pick up domain knowledge in a fast paced cutting edge technology and data team.
Customer/Client solutions exp a plus
Excellent diplomacy and communication skills
