Overview:Qpay is looking for an experienced,organized, articulate Scrum Master.
The Scrum Master guides multiple teams in the use and adaptation of Scrum/Agile Methodologies in delivering infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, infrastructure project management experience and/or experience as a Scrum Master in an agile environment.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Infrastructure team?s adoption of Agile Practices? coaches team on practicing of core agile principals such as collaboration, transparency and delivering according to business value
Ensure Scrum Framework is followed including required meetings and artifacts
Use inspect and adapt with team to constantly improve performance and responsiveness
Works closely with Product Owner to ensure Product Backlog and release plans are clear
Must be able to handle up to 3 simultaneous projects
Facilitates the team in estimation of product back-log items and identifying/managing cross organization dependencies
Responsible for ensuring that all needed assets and resources are identified to successfully meet project requirements
Facilitates Sprint planning meetings and daily stand up meetings
Ensure work is properly tracked in Rally
Provides burn-down and other weekly reports regarding team progress; provides statistics that can be used as part of inspect and adapt process to improve overall efficiency
Tracks, resolves and escalates impediments
Holds ultimate responsibility for accurate communication of release dates
Must have the confidence and experience to play a proactive role in process development and tool evaluation in order to help drive the definition and enhancement of Agile project management / SCRUM processes for Qpay team
Qualifications:
8-10 years of experience in a technical software development environment, with at least 1-2 using Agile techniques
5 years of experience as Infrastructure Project Manager with strong knowledge of SAAS environments, networking, systems and applications
Scrum Master Certification is Preferred
Technical certification such as CCNA, MSCE, or ITIL preferred but not required
Demonstrated ability to mentor team members in various areas of Agile and serve as an Agile proponent throughout organization
Must be a ?team-player? with the ability to work within a highly collaborative environment
Demonstrated experience driving agile planning and execution
Must adeptly work with team and other agile managers to identify/managing cross organization dependencies
Demonstrated facilitation skills and the ability maintain working relationships with all levels of the organization
Very strong communication and organizational skills, this is a fast paced environment
Must have the confidence and experience to communicate dates to demanding clients and successfully foster successful client relationships
Individual must be a creative thinker, confident and able to express ideas in an articulate, concise manner
Knowledge of Rally preferred but not required
