Job Summary
Identropy is looking for an experienced, customer-focused, highly energized Operations Engineer who will manage multiple aspects of Identropy?s relationship with its customers of the SCUID SaaS offering.
This Operations Engineer will be a key member of Identropy?s SCUID Operations team, focused on responding to customer issues being reported, diagnosing product issues, identifying and resolving them, all while interfacing and orchestrating with Identropy?s Product development team to provide code fixes, technical expertise and enhancements that will address our customers? needs.
The Operations Engineer will develop relationships with customers by utilizing excellent communication skills and a high degree of professionalism.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
4+ years of enterprise IT or product support role functions
Familiarity with web and network troubleshooting tools
Working knowledge of Java based server technologies (Tomcat, JBoss, etc) and be able to profile and debug Java server performance problems
BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or comparable industry experience
Knowledge and work experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Xen, KVM and public cloud resources such as AWS or Rackspace Cloud is a plus
Proven technical troubleshooting experience
Experience working in a startup or with a SaaS software model is a plus
Excellent communication, customer service and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills ? written and verbal
