- Writing Sqooping jobs, MapReduce jobs, Hive transformations, Combiners
- Build monitoring and testing mechanisms around Sqooping and data transformations
Job Requirements:
Education Required: B.E./ B.Tech / Masters in Computer Science , strong in academics and good aptitude , excellent communication skills with a flair to learn quickly.
Experience required
3-5years of software development
The person will be trained extensively on Hadoop.
Skills and Knowledge Required
- Experience working with Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL
- Extensive experience working with Linux , shell scripting and Python
- Experience with Core Java and exposure to J2ee
- Demonstrable excellence in innovation, problem solving, analytical skills, data structures and design patterns
- Ability to research and document options and opportunities to solve business needs and assess the feasibility and risk associated with proposed solutions
- Experience in refactoring and re-engineering of enterprise systems and good understanding of functional aspects
- Experience with Reporting Software such as Open Reports/ Jasper Reports / Kettle is not mandatory but a plus
