The Search Engine Marketing team advertises Announce Medias websites and clients on major search engines and direct placements. Online advertisements run by this marketing team are viewed by millions of Internet users each day, and real-time reporting allows for continuous optimization to improve performance. Specific verticals include mortgage, financial services, travel, realty, comparison product shopping, education, real estate, auto insurance, international, and multiple others. Each individual on the team must manage multi-million dollar portfolios for online marketing spend to ensure maximum paid search efficiencies.
Own pay-for-performance marketing campaigns on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that sales and efficiency goals are met or exceeded.
Manage & refine affiliate marketing efforts to further optimize channel. Develop relationships with new affiliates, strengthen existing relationships and manage affiliate agency partner to monitor compliance across network.
Hands on implementation and campaign management for SEM through our partners and/or internally.
Manage online marketing budget, forecasting monthly goals and ensuring that they are achieved.
Develop and execute online marketing strategies and plans to support sales efforts throughout the year as well as during holidays and seasonal pushes.
Provide daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reporting & analysis strategy (with support from analyst) and communicate key performance trends to the organization.
Work closely with engineering to automate all pay per click campaign management, champion proprietary pay per click traffic (PPC) application.
Perform data analysis as needed to problem solve and to identify trends and opportunities.
Monitor competitive best practices, keep up with industry trends and introduce new ideas for improving performance, developing new partnerships as necessary.
Manage keyword expansion, ad copy analysis, bid strategy, etc. for a segment of clients
Conduct keyword research to produce optimal click through rates, write effective ad copy, and campaign creation and uploads to align with seasonal calendar
Implementation of A/B and multivariate performance tests
2+ years working with search marketing, lead generation and marketing affiliate offers.
Track record of sustainable and profitable implementations of marketing budgets for direct response offers.
Advanced statistical analysis skills, quantitative thinker, extremely detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Enthusiasm for search engine marketing and online marketing in general
Expert in MS Excel, Pivot tables, macros, etc. and the ability to digest large amounts of information to provide presentable and actionable data
Develop the technology that power millions of daily unique visitors
