Overview:
iCrossing is looking for a Search Optimization Strategist (SEO) to work in our Scottsdale, AZ Office.
The SEO Strategists? primary purpose is to execute successful campaigns designed to meet specific client goals and objectives. An SEO Strategist is responsible for making the strategic decisions that are tied to all research-, development- and Implementation-related tasks and deliverables.
In addition, the Strategist plays a central role in several reporting- and analysis-related tasks, assists in client training, provides information on governance-related programs, and works to ensure that the bought, earned and owned digital marketing strategies are seamlessly integrated into the SEO program.
SEO Definition: Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines' "natural," or un-paid ("organic" or "algorithmic"), search results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine's users. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search, academic search, news search and industry-specific vertical search engines.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the production and delivery (client review) of all ?Strategy? related tasks and deliverables as outlined by a Statement of Work.

Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree , 2+ years of industry experience
Strong understanding of major search engine algorithms
Ability to identify and recommend solutions to technical hurdles
CMS related, server related
Fundamental understanding of HTML
Experience with CSS, JavaScript and Flash a plus
Strong experience with industry standard tools
