Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for searching and examining real estate titles ranging in complexity to determine status of title or establish chain of title.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Search and analyze deeds, deeds of trust/mortgages, easements, judgments, tax assessments, and other applicable instruments.
2. Verify vesting and encumbrances to title.
3. Prepare title reports.
4. Review files that may be too complicated to be completed by other departments.
5. Provide service to RedVision customers.
6. Aid other departments with their workload if time permits.
7. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
TRAVEL: Minimal
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is sedentary, typically employee sits comfortably to do the work. There may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as paper, books, or notebooks.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Training is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment that requires normal safety precautions. Work is normally performed remotely in a typical interior/office work environment that requires normal safety precautions.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
High School Diploma
Minimum 6 months prior title search or examination experience
Must be very comfortable working on a computer and learning new technology.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer

Required:
Ability to work in an accurate, detail-oriented and highly productive manner
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and tasks requiring detail, concentration, and accuracy
Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
