The Security Analyst will work within the Security team to support the development and administration of organization-wide security programs related to information security processes, IT security management, risk assessments, and employee security awareness.
? Assist the design and implementation of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion prevention/detection systems, content-filtering, log management/security information and event management, anti-malware, mobile device management, and endpoint security
? Support the integration and administration of security solutions and any enhancements in accordance with industry best practices
? Administration of access control, network monitoring, remote access, and vulnerability management tools.
? Identify technology risks and independently evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of complex information technology controls over IT infrastructure, networks, and security.
? Maintain knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technologies and update management on risk and threat that could impact company business.
? 2+ years of experience in positions with a focus on information technology and/or customer support
? Understanding of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection, mobile device management, encryption, and endpoint protection
? Understanding of how data flows through an organization, associated risk and appropriate mitigating security controls
? Knowledge of information security issues, trends and best practices
? Experience building network of relationships across business organizations
? Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment
? Ability to meet deadlines
