Major roles and responsibilities:
- Act as the trusted IT security advisor to major partners and major customers
- Build a strong trust relationship with engineering and architecture teams in Check Point major customers and partners
- Identify up-sell opportunities in the assigned accounts
- Create an account development plan for major customers with the account managers
- Support sales team on proposal and solutions to customers and partners
- Prepare solution proposals
- Generate Bill of Materials for quotations
- Customer and partner presentations and clarifications
- Support sales in tendering and bidding process
- Design and build proof-of-concept systems
- Work with Check Point support to ensure no post-sales issue will inhibit the sales process
- Feedback to Check Point product organisation, raising product RFEs and presenting business cases.
Key Requirements:
- Candidate must hold at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in Pre-Sales engineer
- Technical knowledge in one of the following topics: Check Point firewalls, Cisco firewalls, Juniper firewalls, IPS systems, Endpoint Security systems, Networking, Hardware, mission Critical- High Availability Concepts
- Ability to architect a security infrastructure solution
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and conversational skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
