Security Engineer Germany Liquid Machines

We are looking for a suitably talented individual to join our SE team in Munich/Cologne. The successful candidate for this post will be able to help our business partners and customers in the German IT security sector to achieve success with us by providing efficient and effective technical support. He/she will also train our customers and partners, mentor their security engineers and pursue Check Point's strategy. Other areas include producing proof of concepts and specialist articles as well as active participation in security events and trade shows, running seminars and actively provide pre-sales consultancy support .
Skills and knowledge required:
In addition to an outstanding knowledge base and a meticulous approach to work in the IT security environment, the successful candidate will have:
Professional qualification in IT or engineering degree with IT specialism
professional experience in the IT security environment in similar companies in the hi-tech industry, ideally already Check Point CCSE certified
Sound knowledge of IT security with additional professional qualifications completed or about to be completed (e.g. MAS Information Security, CISSP, etc.)
Good presentation skills
A team player â€" comfortable about being the hub between client and partners in conjunction with sales, marketing and other Check Point resources
Able to work independently on his/her own initiative
Able to build up close long term relationships based on trust and reliability with clients, resellers and distributors
Excellent knowledge of spoken and written German, native speaker of German preferred
Good knowledge of spoken and written English, any other languages are a plus
Principal tasks:
Providing training, advice and assistance to Check Point customers/partners
Preparing and giving technical presentations to partners, clients as well as at security events
Supporting channel partners at POCs and assisting them in producing bids
Support during design work and provide appropriate consultancy services
