BoardVantage is looking for an experienced Security Engineer. The position will be responsible for verifying the security of BoardVantage solutions. This includes: penetration testing, code review, and log file analysis. The Security Engineer's primary responsibility will be to identify vulnerabilities, and report same. This position reports to the Director of Professional Services.Responsibilities:
Running penetration tests against new and existing products
Monitoring our production logs on a daily basis for evidence of attackers
Performing security-oriented code reviews
Testing the security of our systems
Analysis of submitted penetration tests and security complaints
Analysis of security bulletins/reports within the industry
Provide technical consultations and presentations as needed
Other Duties as Assigned
Required Skills/Experience:
Analyzing and responding to penetration tests
Performing penetration tests and writing reports
Exposure to automated security tools like AppScan and WebInspect
Knowledge of Fortify and other static analysis tools
Familiarity with BurpSuite, Charles or a similar proxy tool
Familiarity with Wireshark or similar
Reporting on industry developments
Java and/or Objective-C experience a plus
Positive customer service and team attitude (helping others when required)
Focused on quality
Committed to continual improvement
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
