As a Security Engineer, you will be a key part of the Cloud Services Operations group that is responsible for providing Managed Security Services for Imperva customers. You will be working alongside our exceptional team of professionals in Product Support, Engineering, QA and Sales Engineering. As the main point of contact for our Cloud Based customers, you will be responsible for proactively managing customers? security environments, resolving worldwide customer support issues, as well as any other technical issues that may arise within those environments.The Imperva SOC team provides processes, tools and technology, which prevent and manage web security threats, vulnerabilities and incidents. They also provide 24x7 web security monitoring, security events data gathering and incident response while working closely with our partners and customers worldwide.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assessing the customer's technical environment, planning installations and configurations.
Making proactive steps to constantly improve customers? infrastructure.
Working on escalations with the Support and R&D teams.
On call once in a few weeks support as needed.
Qualifications:
2+ years of Information Security experience.
Knowledgeable with HTML and JavaScript.
Experience with web protocols and standards (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, DNS).
Keen attention to detail ? demonstrated understanding and documenting of customer requirements, while managing expectations, and providing excellent customer service.
Excellent problem solving skills with a strong sense of customer commitment.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor?s Degree in a relevant field.
