Trustwave seeks a full-time software engineer with prior team-oriented development experience. The candidate should have a strong background in C++ development. Familiarity with today's computer security market and security concepts such as authentication, confidentiality, and integrity is desired. Programming experience in the Windows and/or Linux environment(s) is required.
Required qualifications include:
B.S. or M.S. degree in computer science or computer engineering
3+ years of experience in development of software for Windows/Linux environments
Deep knowledge of C++ programming language
Deep knowledge of multi-threaded programming and systems
TCP/IP networking knowledge
Solid understanding of the software development process
Strong organizational skills
Effective at multi-tasking, working under tight deadlines and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
Excellent written language skills and ability to write clear, concise, and easy-to-understand documentation
Plusses:
Experience in developing cryptographic software and systems
Familiarity with PCI (Payment Card Industry) Data Security Standard
Proficient with Visual Studio or gdb development tools
Familiarity with operating system security concepts
General skills:
Self-starter with ability to prioritize many projects and problems independently, as they arise
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills a must
Occasional overnight travel to other Trustwave offices, domestic and international, may be required
