Job Description :
Develop Seismic Equipment Qualification (SEQ) procedures and develop methodologies specific to the Bellefonte plant. Review/approve existing vendor SEQ reports and documentation for mechanical, electrical, and I&C related equipment. Ensure that the SEQ requirements for items to be procured for new items are correctly specified in the Procurement and Design Specifications by developing and/or reviewing the SEQ requirements. Review potential vendor SEQ related responses for adequacy, and provide conclusions to Procurement and Engineering groups. Prepare or review qualification test plans, baseline tests, Operating Basis Earthquake (OBE) testing, Safe Shutdown Earthquake (SSE) testing, and qualification reports documenting the details of the SEQ of the item. Analyze qualification test anomalies, evaluate effect on equipment qualification, propose solutions as needed, and demonstrate the adequacy of those solutions. Minimum Qualifications: BS in Engineering plus 7 years of engineering experience. Possess comprehensive knowledge in SEQ and completed significant assignments. Possess 3 years of direct SEQ experience in the nuclear industry. Familiar with IEEE 344 and 382. Familiary with USNRC Regulatory Guide 1.61, 1.97, and 1.100
