Selling Fleet Manager Modular Space Corporation

The Selling Fleet Manager will have dual responsibility for identifying, prospecting, and closing business opportunities across ModSpace product offerings and industry segments and maintaining the modular unit fleet to be in compliance with OSHA regulations and ModSpace policies and procedures with a strong emphasis on cost and inventory controls.:
Sales Related Functions
Direct ownership of revenue generated in territory through account/territory management for the sale/lease of all asset and project types ? custom and fleet, ancillary and value-added products, MedBuild, Government, and other Vertical projects
Maintain and grow share of existing client base in assigned territory; develop a viable pipeline of new business
Gain comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and market and how/where ModSpace fits and can grow
Identify, implement, record, and measure regular, continuous prospecting efforts throughout territory to grow market share; identify top 20 targets; utilize SalesForce.com to prospect and record lead generation, communication, and conversion.
Generate professional quotations and proposals as necessary and in conjunction with Operations and Construction Services
Conduct regular meaningful client contact ? project site visits for service and up-sell potential
Establish cohesive working relationship with assigned Inside Sales Associate in order to effectively transition and then fulfill customer orders for singles, storage, HQ, and other work simple in scope
Conduct on-site client transactions at the branch location
Operations/Fleet Management Related Functions
Maintain modular unit fleet and facility appearance
Direct daily workflow of Drivers and Maintenance employees driving productivity
Monitor, investigate, and implement cost reduction initiatives
Manage vendors, purchasing controls and cost budgets
Manage outgoing and incoming inspection of units and perform customer site inspections as necessary
Manage business operating system rebills and inspection data input
Ensure compliance with ModSpace policies/procedures, ModSpace safety and environmental programs and OSHA regulations
Maintain truck and Driver records and files in accordance with ModSpace policy and procedures and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
Maintain accurate floor plans and unit specifications
Manage inventory on daily basis to control costs and complete monthly inventory reports
Team with Construction Services to perform fleet modifications as necessary
Manage medium size modular projects
Perform other duties as assigned
:
A successful Selling Fleet Manager candidate has/is:
A bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Marketing, or Engineering or has a minimum of 5 years operations or construction/fleet/facilities management
A minimum of 5 years progressive outside sales experience
Demonstrated skills developing long-term customer partnerships up to and including the C-level (customer acquisition, development and retention)
A minimum of 3 years department/site cost containment and people management experience
An inclusive leadership style driving employee development and empowerment
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
A strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to meet deadlines
PC proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
A demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and high volume workload
A valid driver?s license
Able to travel up to 40% of the time including overnight travel
Provide Sales support by estimating project costs and assisting with asset selection
