Gilt Groupe is seeking a top-notch digital marketing professional to join its dynamic and growing Online Marketing team. As a Marketing Manager you will own and be responsible for driving search and social marketing for Gilt Groupe's global business. You will be charged with leading strategy development, campaign design, execution, measurement, optimization and reporting of key marketing initiatives to further Gilt Groupe's rapidly growing businesses. This role requires a demonstrated record of analytical rigor, creative problem solving, and execution. The ideal candidate will have a top-tier educational background, a successful track record in developing and managing large scale online marketing campaigns in both U.S. and international markets and 4+ years of experience in online marketing or advertising.
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated with a strong academic history and professional performance. The position requires someone who is highly analytical, motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to work in fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position located in New York City, NY.
Drive customer acquisition and engagement for Gilt Groupe via search engine marketing.
Manage all planning and execution of online search marketing programs, including campaign setup, monitoring, reporting, analysis, optimization, budget pacing and forecasting, keyword research and expansion, competitive benchmarking, and strategic portfolio insights.
Partner closely with vertical and international marketing teams to understand business objectives, provide strategic guidance in relation to the opportunity and impact of online acquisition efforts, and develop strategic customer acquisition/engagement marketing programs to deliver against campaign goals.
Partner with data and analytics teams to develop and evolve the marketing reporting dashboards and analyze individual campaign performances to derive actionable insights to improve performance, conversion rates, and lifetime customer value.
Provide regular performance updates to business owners and serve as the channel owner in making recommendations, sharing best practices, and alerting to new trends and emerging opportunities.
Identify new and emerging online advertising technology and capabilities to improve program performance.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop planning and execution processes to streamline operations, especially in the areas of portfolio organization, language localization, creative development, media planning, reporting, and campaign QA.
4+ years of direct experience managing search engine marketing with a proven track record in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
Bachelor?s degree in a related discipline preferred.
In-depth understanding of key industry metrics and the ability to recognize how they might impact the business (CPC, CTR, CPA, Quality Score).
Tech savvy and comfortable using paid search/social management tools (Adwords, AdCenter, Facebook Power Editor, SEM tools providers).
Ability to develop strong relationships with internal partners and external agency?s
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working in retail, specifically luxury retailers and/or fashion
Top-notch written and verbal communication skills.
