This Training Manager position is responsible for leading training efforts for Adchemy?s proprietary IntentMap Search Marketing platform. The Training Manager will be a founding member of the training division of the SEM Client Services Team, supporting the enablement of resources to build and operate IntentMaps for top online advertisers. Core responsibilities include the developing and delivery of training materials and modules, delivering training sessions with internal and external resources, compiling and contributing to training best practices, and staying abreast of and helping to drive product direction. This unique role is an opportunity for an experienced SEM to leverage their background to learn and help drive the direction of a cutting-edge technology as well as interface with a wide variety of SEMs. The Training Manager role is closely guided and supported by a Senior SEM Director.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation and administration of IntentMap training programs
Develop modules for introductory and advanced sessions of IntentMap Build and Operate phases
Interface with cross-functional departments to determine training needs
Develop training assets from product documentation, best practice guides, and user research
Stay abreast of product direction and new features and collaborate cross-functionally to evolve training and documentation effectively
Identify gaps in best practices and product features, participating in definition of product direction, interact with Product Management on feedback
Implement measurements to evaluate effectiveness of training program as well as achievement of trainees, monitor improvements in metrics
Periodically serve in an SEM Sr Analyst/Manager role to gain familiarity with product and processes
Manages the storage and organization of materials in internal wiki
Inspect and adapt, identify areas for product or process improvements
Know and defend opinion on search industry and emerging trends
Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree in a marketing or quantitative discipline
5+ years in a hands-on direct PPC/SEM campaign launch and optimization role
Prior direct training experience is preferred, but experience with search engine marketing technologies and/or account management experience is sufficient
High level of interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communications skills
Ability to multi-task while maintaining a strong attention to detail
Proactive with a passionate desire to learn
